Cool! Minecraft 1.5 has Stats, Achievements, Snow and Rain… at least according this this video. That weather could get incredibly annoying though as it is nearly constant. I think that weather should only occur every few days at most.
The Stats and Achievements look really neat though. For those of us who run servers, [...]

Where has this show been all my life? That Mitchell and Webb Look has produced a ton of amazing satirical videos that address general quackery, pseudo-science, and conspiracy theorists.
In this video they explore what a typical Emergency Room might be like if the world subscribed to Homeopathy and “alternative medicine”. And in doing [...]

Both are video fail sites (for the most part), but they strangely are quite different.
Break.com has the newest videos. Snotr.com videos are usually about 3 or 4 days behind Break. Snotr also rehashes some really old videos now and then. But the biggest difference lies within the community of comment writers.
On Break.com [...]

This video is absolutely brilliant. Its author is my hero. If only we had more people with this much talent creating videos of this much clarity. And then, if we could only strap down those in need and make them watch videos like this… what a better world it would be.
You owe it [...]

Fairly low-brow video that is worth a watch just for the relative finesse of matching video to music. Doesn’t really say anything, but I thought it was fun.
One of the most awesome (and pseudo-contradictory) things about science is its incredible predictive power. That alone blows any other system of knowledge away. The Bible [...]

My initial attempt at Media networking is a big success! The world of the Personal Video Recorder (PVR) is now open to me. Here is the formula you need to know:
TV Tuner Card (Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150) + Hauppauge MediaMVP + GB-PVR + Zap2It + Hard Drive + Network = WOW
Assuming you already have [...]

After some additional research, I’ve decided to conduct a (relatively) cheap experiment. I’ve purchased the following:
Hauppauge PVR-150 TV Tuner card Hauppauge MediaMVP
I’m going to install the card in my current PC, install GB-PVR, hook up the MediaMVP to my current television and take a leap into the “modern world”.
I’ll let you [...]

We just did our first walk-through with the electrician the other day. Our new addition is essentially all sealed up with new windows and such, but the walls are still just framed and wide-open. So now we begin to think about lighting, electrics, and networking.
I have been convinced that since the walls are [...]

All you need to do is supply the URL of the page that contains the video you [...]
