The world needs more of this. I’m not sure what else to say, really. We just need more. [reading this on Facebook? Please visit Ooine.com for more!] I was just listening to a podcast (Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe) where experimental psychologist Richard Wiseman spoke briefly about a new book that he is working on. When he was asked to briefly describe it, he mentioned that it was about how many of the everyday psychological self-help techniques and directives we’ve been taught [...] This video is absolutely brilliant. Its author is my hero. If only we had more people with this much talent creating videos of this much clarity. And then, if we could only strap down those in need and make them watch videos like this… what a better world it would be. Fairly low-brow video that is worth a watch just for the relative finesse of matching video to music. Doesn’t really say anything, but I thought it was fun. What exactly is our universe? Are we part of one, infinite universe? Are we in just one of many finite universes? Do we actually exist as a speck of dust in somebody else’s universe? |
