Another Google Tri-Force Spotted!

Wow, another Google tri-force logo has been spotted in their new Apollo Google Doodle.  See below…
Ugh, another reader of Ooine just informed me that Google removed the tri-force from their Google Doodle on the main page.  Oh well, at least it’s captured here.  Be on the look out for more tri-forces on future doodles!

Brainstorming is an inefficient method of generating ideas

I was just listening to a podcast (Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe) where  experimental psychologist Richard Wiseman spoke briefly about a new book that he is working on.  When he was asked to briefly describe it, he mentioned that it was about how many of the everyday psychological self-help techniques and directives we’ve been taught [...]

Solar Panels as Roof Shingles

It seems so obvious.  Just make your roof a giant solar panel and put all that square footage to work.  Well maybe it’s not that simple, but at least this gets us one step closer.  Pacific Northwest National Laboritories has created the building-integrated photovoltaics roof shingle that has the potential to significantly impact our solar [...]

Microsoft’s Project Natal

I’ve found in life that whenever a product bends over backwards to tell you that it is a certain way… it is most likely just the opposite. Project Natal demonstrates this nicely.

Sure, I’m giving up the chance to mess with the code and [...]

Most People Don’t Read Contracts – Well Duh!

The Consumerist just posted a story about how silly most people are in that they never bother to read contracts presented to them. Rather, they pretend like they are considering it for about 2 seconds and then they sign away.
You know what I say to that? DUH! You simply cannot function in [...]
