Okay, I’ve found another great Tracfone promo code. This is the best and latest code for 60-minute cards. I prefer to buy 60-minute cards because you can get great free minutes with promo codes. I don’t use a lot of minutes, so normally the service end date is my limiting factor. If this is the case with you, then you always want to buy 60-minute cards because all card denominations come with 90-days of service.

I was only expecting 40 bonus minutes from this card, but received 90 for a total of 150. This phone (an ancient Nokia 1100) does not have double minutes attached to it. Cheers.

Sorry, but we can’t control the Tracfone codes. One thing I hate about their site is that you can’t see what the code is going to give you before you pay for the minutes. Because of that, using a code is ALWAYS a gamble. All I can do is report back what happened to me when I use a code.

Used this code today 9/18/09 only got 20 extra minutes.
This one worked great, with my double minutes for life (that I already had) I ended up only paying for 90 minutes but got 390. Gotta love that! The double minutes for life is well worth the one-time price.

How do you know if the promotional code works or not? I tried adding it but don’t see where the bonus minutes are showing up.
Good question. The Tracfone website is not friendly in this regard. It will not tell you how many minutes you receive from the code until you actually make the purchase. It’s either lazy programming or poor business practice.
hey man the easiest way to do promo codes is on the tracfone website, simply click add airtime, enter the card number of the prepaid card then enter promo code, if it does give you bonus minutes they will automatically be counted on your total minutes.
it will only let you use promo codes so many times before you need a new promo code number..peace

Just re-upped with Promo Code 14938. Got 60-min card $19.99 + 60-min DMFL and another 60 min for the Promo. I called to be sure the Promo was valid today and believe it’s good through Jan 1, 2010 but check. I signed up on the phone, 180 minutes for $19.99, good deal. He tried to get me to buy more minutes, but I kept asking if that was a better price than the 60, none was. Very happy!
Supposedly promo code 79570 is expired, but it added 30 extra min. anyway when I purchased 60 min. over the internet. I then called Tracfone and asked why I didn’t get 90 min. and said I wanted to use promo code 14938, and she gave me 60 more min.

I used this today for both my phone and my husbands phone. We have the double mins phone and I bought the 90 minute card. I ended up getting 270 minutes on each phone. So, we ended up getting 90 free minutes, since we get double minutes, and a 90 minute card is 30$, that reflects a 15$ value. Not bad! Thanks!

Hi, Long time tracfone customer, very happy with rates when using promo codes, with a double minutes for life card. Using code 79570 today I bought a 60 min card for $19.99 and added 60 more mins for an additional $10. Received 270 total minutes [60 + 60 + bonus of 150.] Of course if you buy bigger cards it’s a little cheaper but I don’t use that many minutes — I use texting a lot, as it’s only 1/3 a unit for most texts.

I just used promo code 79570 which was supposed to be for 150 minutes on a 60 minute card (per this website)…I have a double-minutes-for-life phone and bought 60 minutes….what I got was the 60 minutes, plus the 60 double minutes and Tracfone say the promo is only good for 30 minutes.

the title is misleading. its suppose to be 30 bonus minutes only. 30 + 60 for the card + 60 for dmfl.

This code gives 30 minutes. Those reporting more just getting the double min for life minutes for their original purchase.

used code 14938 and got nothing
Used 14938 code with 60 min card(on 10-22-09)and somehow got 240 min total. Right away my phone registered 60 + 60 bonus. Then the web page said to “click here” for a pending update to my account. It tells me to make sure my phone is on, then to turn it off and back on, and leave it on for 5 min for update to complete. Five minutes later the phone has 120 more new minutes!! (60 + 60 bonus -again) Don’t know why that happened, but I’ll take it! I DO NOT have dmfl or anything else…but I DO have 180 free minutes!!
As of October 23rd 2009 1:00pm Central time, Tracfone promo code 79570 only gives 30 bonus minutes. I had 73.2 minutes on the phone before I entered the 60 minute card pin number. I have a double minute for life phone, so the 60 minute card gives 120 minutes. 120 plus the 73.2 I already had comes to 193.2. I now have 223.2 minutes using this code, which is a difference of 30 minutes. This code is only worth 30 bonus minutes.
Hey, When people use tracfone promo codes they go by your phones serial number. If you received the promo code or have a phone with the serial numbers intended for the use of the promo code you will get the full amount of minutes. If you use a promo code that was not intended for your phone you will receive less minutes.
If you want to check if a promo code is valid, got to tracfone and register your phone and log in. Go to where you buy your time online. “Purchase” a card with the same amount of minutes that you are going to put on your phone and use the promo code. If the code will not work it will tell you so. If it works then you can just cancell the purchase and go to add air time and add your minutes and use the promo code.

The site doesn’t tell you if you’ve already used a promo code and when I used 79570 it said nothing other than verifying my calling area. I only got 60 minutes and NO BONUS minutes. I may have used this code before and they will not tell you if you did. I’m pissed, but this is what you get with Tracfone. You must keep track (pun intended) of which codes you use or will get screwed like me.

I purchased a 90 minute card at Walmart, went on line to add the minutes. Used code 79570 that ya’ll were talking about. The phone is Kyocera.( my husbands phone) It added the 90 minutes plus 120 extra for a total of 210 minutes. I also have an older Nokia Tracfone and almost always have trouble using the bonus codes with it. Thanks for the code!

Are people counting the double minutes for life as “bonus minutes” with the code(s)? If this code really did add 150 extra min. with a 60 min card….that would be 60 min. from card + 60 minutes if you have DMFL + 150 “BONUS MIN” = 270 min. for $20. If anyone knows about a code adding more than 60 actual bonus minutes; please let us all know. That would make me very happy!!
You definately need DOUBLE MINUTES FOR LIFE…especially when they’re offering it online for $24 I think?

Also, the regular online exclusive to only spend $10 for 30 min. (60 min. with DMFL) which is nice if you can only spend $10 at the time.
A current (I assume this is promotional; and won’t always be offered) web exclusive is 1500 min. (and 365 days service added) for $199.99. That would be a great investment, considering over time I have purchased at least 25 60 min. cards for $20 each… ($500)I would have saved a few hundred by purchasing the 1500 min. card…but who has $200 to spend on tracfone min. at one time? Not me.
It says “code accepted and it will add the minutes at the end of the transaction.” It did not add any extra time after accepting the code and in fact erased the 11 remaining minutes I had on the phone. So, I spent almosst and hour trying to get a refund or the extra minutes-they denied either one. Then called the number on my account and it said their number has changed to 800-432-1000, which is 411,so you can’t contact them. Finally, had to call my bank and have the transaction cancelled. Tried to file a BBB complaint and there is no BBB in that area. Wow, is Tracfone ever deceptive; think twice before doing business with Tracfone!

Used the code on 6 Dec and got a total of 150 minutes with the code. I have a DMFL on my phone, so I got 60 on the card, 60 for DMFL and then a bonus of 30 for the code to total at 150 minutes for the transaction. Not bad.

I just used this code 79570 on 12/9 and only got 30 free bonus minutes. That sucks could have used a different code for more extra minutes.
