Science Wins

Fairly low-brow video that is worth a watch just for the relative finesse of matching video to music.  Doesn’t really say anything, but I thought it was fun.

One of the most awesome (and pseudo-contradictory) things about science is its incredible predictive power. That alone blows any other system of knowledge away. The Bible provides no predictive power. Astrology can’t predict anything. No supernatural forces or alleged effects have ever been shown to have predictive capacity beyond random chance.

Shoot an arrow into sky and science can predict where it is going to land. Try praying to evoke the same information. Good luck. Imagine if we relied upon prayer, astrology, and the bible to get to the moon? Mix some chemicals together and chemistry will predict the resulting compound. Imagine a chemist praying for the proper formulas? Comedic gold.
