I bought Magic Jack about three or four years ago. Registered it and got a phone number. Never used it. Now I have a new computer “Gateway desktop” and a new e-mail address. How do I reregister and get connected. Any hekp will be appreciated.

For a long period of time an individual from 4421 N. 19th St. CIR 85016 took over my Magic Jack since my phone number from Illinois was replaced with 000.000.0000. My address is not on 19th St. but 29th St. 85016.

I order my majicjack on June 2010…. I was waiting for two months and I did not receive it…. I chat with costumer service and I send my mail adress again… I dis receive it on October and now I instaled ….to register I do need the porder numeber nobody send it to me. But Majicjack carged on my credit card $39.95 on July 26 2010 and when I chat with costumer service they still not have my order number. Why it took more than 4 onths to sendt it and whay I was charged by someting I had not received… on TV the commercial say…30 days free trial…. and now I want to used to see how it works…. whao can help me please…. I have had trouble with MJ from day one. It constantly prompts me to put it in and out of the computer.
Now i get a dial tone but can’t dial out, this has been a total waste of money but more important time and aggravation.
In short in my personal opinion, this is a piece of junk.,

Clement…As a frequent buyer of products from the US I find that it takes 2 to 3 weeks before it is delivered to Canada when shipped by USPS sometimes even longer . Your purchase was done in the prime Christmas shipping season a little patience may well be worth it. I have MagicJack for over a year now and it has it’s quirks but all in all it is a very good product and for the price it is really inexpensive.

I have two magicjacks and can’t use eighter one due to

reads error on line 401, tried everthing and gave up

mine works fine. two problems may have occured. you have a router that blocks the ports needed or two you have a internet security program that blocks the ports that majic jack uses.
only thing i dont like about magic jack is that i can not get a local phone number in my area, so everyone that wants to use a landline in my area if they call it would be longdistance charges..
so it sucks in that part,
only people that can really call this magic jack is people with cell phones… no longdistance charges and people that actually live in the area of the state which the phone number comes up as..so they dont get longdistance charges that way..
and of course other magic jack users.. which it seems to be very few..
the best thing anyone that is a foreign decent. should be the only ones buying this product. and send it to the land to which they are from. so they can keep in touch with their families/ relatives, at no additional costs…

I was lucky to have been given magicjack as a gift so when I threw it in the trash, which is where the product belongs, it didn’t cost me anything. I spent over four hours chating on line with their customer service to try and resolve a installation issue that they could not fix. I was lied to, left on hold, transferred over and over, and finally hung up on when they could do no more. After reaching them a second time they had the nerve to start the whole hopless process over again. I was promised a refund, I’ll be suprized if that’s not another problem. Very dissatisfied.
All of a sudden I can’t call Alaska where I bought it. Other than that all is well. Just want the problem solved or contact me and tell me what is going on. My family lives in alaska and I can’t call them as often as I want to since my M.J. won’t call there. I think Alaska was put in the system as a forgien country. At one chat the person said I had no money in my account and that was why I couldn’t call Alaska. My M.J. no. is [removed] please let me know what is going on. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and need my M.J. I have done everything possible to try to fix it while chatting with your helpers and no results.

About two days ago, I am am unable to call certain numbers, last night I got a MJ agent on internet chat, he told me that it was a known issue and thier guys are working on it.. It taking them 3 days to solve the problem.
Nothing but problems since day 1. You get a dial tone and dial the number but it doesn’t ring. 99%of myincoming calls goes to voice mail before I have a chance to get to the phone. Then it’s nothing but rattling garbage. HELP!!!!

I have a magic jack that I payed for over the telephone and was never able to to get it activated,or the phone number for it and every time I hook it into my computer it will tell me that I need to pay another 30 something dollars,an I want to know why and I never used it or gotten any service out of it.I payed for it when I first put in a order to have it mailed out.

Magic jack is a scam I use my credit card for international calls and pay $40.40 the next day a voice mail comes on sayinig that have to pay for nternational call again. What a game magic jack pull on people.
You need to take one of the charges off my credit one Bank card,as you said you would do, & I thank you for help getting me back my Magic Jack, I love it,have had no problem untill my one yr ran out then I had lots of trouble getting another yr. put back on, you charged me twice & I am 86 yr old senior living on social security & cant afford to be taken advantage of.

I am from the UK now living in the USA. I downloaded the Skype software for free and can now contact my family in the UK for free. Some of my family dont have a pc so I purchased a skype phone from Amazon for about $17, I pay Skype $6.99 a month which gives me unlimited free calling to any landline in the UK so now I can keep in touch with my family.

Well the magic jack i have at home, i use in HOnduras, but my uncle pays for it in the US. Well we practicly use for my grandma,the family we have in the us call her every day. Well the problem i have is that cellphone calls dont get in, but when i call to the us it does do the calls. And if my uncle with his other magic jack calls, it does get the call in. Please!
