      How to pay your bill on line is to click on “MY” or My Magic Jack and you will see a list of options. One options would be to click Re_new which will allow you to pay your bill online. I like Magic Jack and had one issue with some numbers I can call then some days those numbers are busy all day but if I use a cell phone they ring but stop working with Magic Jack…

    Try to find their damn software if you have new pc and do not have the “Original” email. Without that you cannot do MagicJackShit. I have never seen a reputable company make it so impossible to contact them, or to get their freaking software if you old PC dies. My wife has brochures printed with their freaking phone number, so I am stuck with making this work. WHAT A FREAKING PAIN…… no matter how cheap it is – IS NOT WORTH THE TOTALLY INSANE IMPOSIBILITY TO CONTACT – they force you to go through 40gazillion FAQ’s – the fact that they have so many FAQ’s ought to tell you something right off the bat. They must be from India or something, or a comunist plot who knows!

  • Yesterday, I submitted all of the information for a new purchaser to your firm. This obviously would include all of my debit card info. I never received any formal acknowledgment that my debit card was charged, that the transaction was valid or any other information. I need to know two things: Does your information show where I paid for the Magic Jack, and if so, why can’t I get any type of information.

      Bill my sister is currently have this same problem. She called 281-404-1551 and was on hold for 2 hours. Then they hung up on her. They processed her payment, but have no record of her order. Wish she had an answer for you.

      i had that happen to me,and they did send me another one for $19.99,but it doesn’t work and I can’t get my money back. I have been trying for months now to get it to work.Their customer service suggested I get nanother computer and see if that will correct the problem.If i have to buy a computer, I could just as well gotten a regular phione with regular rates. Good thing I own a cell phone,or I would be up shit creek without a paddle.

    I have ordered a magic jack on a saturday. I was supposed to receive confirmation of the purchase by email. I waited 24 hours… nothing. Then I tried to contact them through their “customer service on line” (apparently this is a computer). They cannnot reply to my question. On top of that, my credit card has already been charged. If I do not have an email telling me code number, how can I install it?

    Just got a MagicJack, we connected it, we have a phone number for it, but whenever we dial, despite the existence of the dial tone, it never reachs the number we are calling, or if it does reach, when the other party answers we do not hear each other. Thank you for any support forthis.

    281-404-1551 is the number I used to contact magic jack. They cut my service off even though we had paid for the five year plan. It took all of ten minutes, but I was looking for a long wait, but it was handled quickly. hope the number helps you too.

    HORRIBLE, SIMPLY HORRIBLE> I paid for a 5 year plan. They wouldnt let me transfer my phone number, 1st big mistake. Then I must have called in 20 times because my phone calls were being interrupted with long silences or just hanging up altogether. Finally, my friends and family told me to call them only with my cell because they couldnt carry a decent conversation on. THats when I knew I had to go to another company.
    This is a rip off.

    I got magic jack, but the calls drop off about 2 or 3 minutes after I am into a call. The support people kept me running in circles for 2 days. So I have now thrown my MJ away. I would not recommend it. At least I am not out that much money.

    I have had Magicjack for three weeks. No problem. Today I found out they have given my Number to someone else. Am now calling customer service…3rd caller with 3 min. wait… 5 min. later I am caller # 3 with 14 min wait. If I continue to wait much longer – they will have me waiting 24 hours !!!!!

    I just got off live chat for 3 hours today trying to get magicjack to work. I did the things they asked three times. I got tired of jumping through their hoops and when I asked for an address to write, they ended chat and I can’t find a way to contact the theives. When I told them it would be cheaper to send me another one, they kindly offered to sell me another one.

    I bought my MJ @ Walgreens with few problems so far. I did have the problem of not hearing the other person, at first. But then realized I didn’t have the volume on my computer turned up. So try that if you are having that problem.

    Walgreens has a 30-day return or exchange policy w/receipt. Anyone contemplating this purchase could buy it there rather than the MJ website. Yes, you pay upfront, but if you don’t like it, the return is hassle free–as long as you keep your receipt. With the above reviews, I guess I’m not buying the 5 year plan though…

    To all the people with low volume problems. A may be fix if your running Vista is to go the control panel and clip on sound then increase handset voume to the max.

    I also bought magic jack at Walgreens and of course do not have a receipt. So I will eat the almost $50 dollars. I have had only problems. It will not work with older fax machines,so I bought a new one. Seems to work, but other problems keep happening. I can not get a dial tone on my extra line, I can not dial out now, I was able to dial out, I do not know what happened. Chatted with free tech. I did not help. I gave up. So I will spend the $30 plus dollars a month to not have this aggravation with magic jack never knowing what problem I will have next. And also, you may or may not be able to always connect with a live person to chat to when there are problems. Then you are stuck!

    Magic Jack is a rip>>>>do not buy it….They refuse to help with my issue. Told me it was my problem and that I should have all the people that call me from a land line to call their carriers and have them up date their LERG!
    When a Land line phone calls me they get a busy or a non working number recording. also i am not able to call from my magic jack to my own personal cell phone!!!
    Obivously most phone companies are not in agreement with this…….DO NOT BUY MAGIC JACK

    I have had no problems for the last year with my magic jack. I have used it for business this past year making about 150-200 call per day per phone (I have two magic jacks). Very minimal problems…only bogged down when the computer the jack was hooked up to was being used. Now all of a sudden they have suspended my acount (on one line only)….due to excessive use….and I cant call them to ask questions. I have never changed the amount of phone callsI make in a day. The live chat was very useless as they referred me to a number that no one answers and no message can be left, very happy if that line even rings. I would have recommended this to others but as their customer service is non-existant…..I will NOT.

        Same thing happened to me, I had it for over a year, I follow up on customer complaints for several companies so I make a lot of phone calls, no sales or telemarketing, these are our customers that want to be contacted, most days I do make over 50 calls which I didn’t realize was against their TOS. I had no idea about the call limit per day but after a year and after paying for a new 5 year plan they suspended me due to over usage! Why did they take my money and then shut down my calling ability? I got on live chat, tried to get some answers but they are trained to go by a script, they don’t answer questions, they just give you the text book answer that best fits your question, they wouldn’t answer my questions at all..kept giving me a phone number to call that didn’t work and isn’t working to this day..they have really bad customer service, they take your money and RUN. When I click reinstate service on my dial pad it just sends me to the site to renew and pay more money. WE just paid over $60 for nothing! Why do they care how many calls I make in one day? I have no limit on my house phone on how many calls I can make. I do think everyone should get together and file a class action law suit to keep them from ripping people off in this manner.

    This company is a fraud. I bought 10 phones to run our company because of the TV ads. They claim that they give you FREE calls. But read the fine print…if you call more than 50 numbers in a day or call more than regular people..THEY CANCEL YOUR NUMBER….and they won’t let you talk to anyone its all done by texting online.
    I am reporting them to the BBB…

    MAGICJACK is a joke! Customer service is horrible, it’s basically only live chat and for 20 minutes they dance around my question. I asked for a phone number and the agent refused to give it to me, saying there wasn’t one. Now, come to find out there is! I saved my caht ID and will be calling tomorrow and I’m not even a customer yet! I haven’t hooked up my jack and I will be returning it tomorrow. BEWARE!!! Stay away from this phone service, everything about it so far is horrible and as I read mroe reviews, it seems many people agree! I was trying to save a few bucks by going this route and I can see that it wasa waste of time and energy. I will be signing up for Vonage online tomorrow..well worth the 25.99 a month!!

    1.you have to restart your magicjack constantly
    2. It will cut-off on you in the middle of a conversation
    3. You have to do all kinds of little quirks to make it work
    4. Customer services stinks-the chat people responds very slow. I think they goof-off or walk away from the chat. Chat people repeat every question you ask them. They don’t know how to fix sh_ _.
    5. If the magicjack goes bad, you cant get the same no. and good-luck if you gave that number out to others.
    6. No where to register a complaint.
    7. I gave up on it. It’s more trouble than it’s worth. To fix a problem is too time consuming.

    My 89 year old father saw their ad on tv and ordered one to save money on his phone bill. He didn’t know you need a computer to use it. He has never had a computer and wouldn’t know how to use one if he had it. They sent it and charged his credit card $100. Now I’m trying to figure out how to get it returned and get his money back. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of an elderly person. This company should be shut down. No customer service number? What’s up with that? And they’re a phone company? These people are going to rot in hell!!!!
