Like almost everyone here I cannot get service from customer support. May 1 year support expired and my MJ was shut off and I cant seem to renew it. I have contacted customer support at least a dozen times and after being promised a dozen times that the”higher” group or “engineers” would solve the problem. They simply dont. For those who want refunds, the best way is to contact your credit card company within 60 days, assuming you paid with a credit card, and dispute the charge. If you wait more than 60 days you’re screwed. Since it’s so cheap, and it works, I will simply buy a new MJ every year for $39.95 and throw the old one away. If it doesn’t work I’ll get my money back from my credit card company.
I can’t get any incomming calls.

Majic Jack seemed to work for a short time; then all I got was a busy signal. I talked online to tech support countless times. Each time we seemed to have fixed the problem only to discover that as soon as I made one phone call it would revert back to a busy signal. I even had a technician “take over” my computer twice. The first time I had to restart my computer which obviously cut us off. No luck getting the same techie again even though I got right back with them again. The second time “Ivan” took over my computer and did his thing [as I watched] then he said “one moment please” and never returned. I took a shower, did some things and came back later to find that nothing had been done. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau but there is neither a phone number nor an address for Majic Jack. They are very sneaky and underhanded, cannot be trusted. I would highly advise anyone to never deal with them. The pain and mental anguish one has to endure is not worth the money you would “save” by using them. And their service is terrible. We have had numerous phone issues in the middle of calls, especially long distance ones. Their tech support is only by computer and any issue outside of a computer cannot be approached. I am getting rid of Magic jack plus and going back to AT&T. Their prices may be high but their phone service quality is unmatched, and that is the purpose of making a phone call, to communicate with the one you are calling.

My Magic Jack Plus did not work. When I had my number ported back to AT&T and Magic Jack charged me $30 plus tax to release my number. This was supposed to be a FREE trial. I should not be required to pay anything to get rid of their piece of junk and get my number back.
Please help me cancel Magic Jack. Any suggestions would help. Will stop automatic renewal if all else fails, so they can’t renew the account. No one will answer live help even if you call [removed] How may times do you have to hear “Please stay on the line etc etc. etc.” One about every 20 seconds. for 20 to 30 or more minutes. I’m out of here.

my original magic jack device fell-the-f*#k apart after I bought it.I have been trying to get a replacement for FOUR YEARS now. The assholes in their customer service department are retarded and shifty. They want you to buy a new one, at your own expense and will speak to you as if you did something wrong!
