CFUnited 2009 Topic Survey

Apparently the peeps over at CFUnited are trying to listen to their attendees. They are providing a large survey with which one can essentially vote for the sessions to appear on the 2009 schedule.

I haven’t attended CFUnited for the past 2 years, but I’ll tell you what… this survey has got me interested in returning (if my company would be ever so gracious as to allow it pretty please). It was actually difficult to assign my votes because there are so many potentially great sessions!

The survey was missing something though. The questions were separated into general meta-topics, and I think there should have been a final question that asked you to rank theses meta-topics. For example, although I voted for certain framework sessions when asked, I really have no interest in attending any framework sessions. I’m frameworked out. However, I would have voted Flex and AIR to the top of the list!

A question like this would help them determine which meta-group should be allocated the largest segment of repeats. On the day of the conference it never fails that your top two targeted sessions are in the same time slot in different rooms. Ugh.
