You would think that Electronic Arts knows better. Apparently they have so locked down their newest release, the much-hyped Spore evolution game, with Digital Right Management (DRM) mechanisms that they have pissed off the majority of the people who actually want to purchase the game.
Electronics Arts assumes their customers are criminals and insults them with ridiculous DRM schemes that only allows 3 installations ever, and no multi-login access to the game. Witness that fallout for yourself over at Amazon.com where you will find an unprecedented 1-star average rating over nearly 1500 reviews! That’s about $50,000 to $75,000 of lost revenue right there on Amazon alone.
