That about sums up parenthood. I desperately hope that I hit rock bottom in this regard somewhere high over the Atlantic during a family vacation to Ireland.
Imagine if you will a screaming, psycho-child laying in the middle of the aisle on a packed 767 at 40,000 feet. Imagine that any word spoken to this child will send them into further irrational kicking and screaming. In my best Keanu Reeve’s voice… “What do you do? What… do… you… do?”
I was there and somehow I got through it. For me, that was the ultimate manifestation of Jeff’s quote above.

I find it hilarious that you mapped out the scream zone!
I, too, find it pretty funny that you took the time to do that. But what I want to know is what plane were you on that had “Public Telephones”????
